Connecting Valea Bistriței
As the project leader, Station Europe, together with the Communities of the Future Association, aimed to support the local NGO, Valea Bistriței Foundation, in becoming a facilitator of change in the area.
Station Europe assisted the Valea Bistriței Foundation in gathering and training young people to raise their voices on issues that mattered to them. By helping them gain a basic understanding of the challenges in their communities, we motivated them to find local solutions and become ambassadors of the Foundation’s initiatives. Together, we worked to engage children and young people from Peștișani and Valea Bistriței (Gorj County) in seven local projects addressing key issues related to their natural environment.

A big shoutout to our amazing partners at the Fundația ”Valea Bistriței” for their incredible work in implementing this project under our coordination! Thanks to their efforts, the Tech Lab is now equipped with state-of-the-art equipment valued at $20,912, including work tables, chairs for students, laptops, a 3D printer, a magnetic ceramic writing board, and much more!
We hope that this new Tech Lab will inspire and motivate students to become active citizens who can lead the way in protecting our planet.
